CEO and Founder at The Israel Palestine Cooperative for Economic Expansion, Inc.(IPCEE) 

​2011 - present

 

​A start-up NGO that encourages pragmatic collaboration between Israel and The Palestinian National Authority (Palestine). 

• Shaped the organization's mission and initiatives.

• Promoted ground-up and bottom-down strategic cross-border relations between Israeli and Palestinian leaders, organizations and institutions. 

• Developed and implemented the IPCEE Healthcare Initiative, "Peace through Medicine."

• Worked in coordination with US, Israel and Palestinian governments, institutions and NGO's.

Recruited as Interim Executive Vice President at The United Jewish Federation of Greater Stamford, New Canaan, and Darien

​​Recruited to serve as Interim Executive Vice President to realign and improve organizations infrastructure, while allowing the board time to recruit & hire a new Executive Director.

• Launched a strategic plan to establish trust in the organization with significant donors and within the community.

• Provided strategic guidance, recruited and trained volunteer teams for community relations and operative committees.

• Provided vision and played a critical role raising $1,900,000, and revitalized annual campaign with new planning hired and repositioned additional staff.

• Managed design and remodel of office to expand and improve space utilization.

• Reviewed team and administrative functions in financial management and processes including upgraded technology and training of employees.

 

Recruited as Federation & Foundation Executive Director for The Jewish Communities of Western Connecticut, Inc.

​Directed staff and organizational administration. Implemented board policies into administrative guidelines and procedures. Supervised personnel and volunteers for efficient operations of two separate boards, grants management, and endowment development. Recruited and trained volunteers. Managed community campus and staff maintained the facility and ensured legal and regulatory compliance. Controlled $1.4 million annual budget and 55 funds which comprise a $20 million endowment. Managed public relations and media communications to increase awareness of local and international programs and projects. International projects in Former Soviet Union, Uganda, Israel, Jordan and The Palestinian Authority.
